What else are you working on?
Currently working on brand and creative with Deem Journal, a publication exploring design as social practice with the mission of building a dynamic design field of inclusion. As well as a vintage home decor business, Mandana Blvd with my fiancée.
What do you like about the work you do?
I'm fascinated with the vast amount of information that exists, but more importantly how it relates to people and communities. The work we do allows us to add valuable context and humanize information and data to serve people and not the other way around.
What does inclusivity mean to you?
It means being intentional about “space.” It means sharing space, creating space, and saving space.
When do you feel most like yourself?
I feel the most like myself in spaces that affirm me as a human being and allow me to pull together all of my interests, values, and parts of myself that are sometimes conflicting and complementing at the same time.
I spend a lot of time thinking about…
Thinking. I think about thinking a lot and how at times, I need to scale back on thinking and just be.
