Assistant Researcher to the Chief of Staff
What did you do before Openbox?
I am currently in my senior year of college at Fordham University and have spent the bulk of my undergraduate career working to cultivate community in and around campus. I have interned for non profit organizations in the Bronx, where I helped organize events and create policies that advocate for greater equity. On campus, I am involved with clubs and student government councils that work to cultivate greater intercultural community between students.
What do you like about the work you do?
I enjoy making connections between people, disciplines, and ideas. I love learning from the team about how these connections work to create better and more efficient processes.
What does inclusivity mean to you?
Inclusivity is the introduction of people and perspectives from all backgrounds into a conversation, in which all identities feel welcome and heard.
When do you feel most like yourself?
Laughing (and crying) with my family and friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about...
My thesis, Harry Styles, and how there are not enough hours in a day.
