What did you do before Openbox?
As an industrial designer turned graphic designer, I’ve worked across various industries and roles. Previously I’ve designed home goods for IKEA and worked at the strategy studio Consortia. I received my BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.
What do you like about the work you do?
As much as I’ve always loved making things—and hopefully beautiful things at that—I see design as a platform for my purpose. Design is a way to support the things that are important to me, and amplify the voices of those who need it most.
What does inclusivity mean to you?
Growing communities instead of building products.
When do you feel most like yourself?
Diving hands-first into learning a new tool or technique.
I spend a lot of time thinking about...
Archiving, collecting, and sharing.
